Pumpkin Bread Recipe

If you don't bake pumpkin bread when the leaves get crunchy and the air gets cooler, are you really doing fall right?! I'm no food blogger, but today I wanted to share a pumpkin bread recipe with you. I'm all about making your home a place you love to be and I'm pretty sure you won't want to leave when your house smells like this freshly baked pumpkin bread.

This recipe comes from my grandma (lovingly known as Mimi) and I can promise you it doesn't disappoint. Put on your comfiest clothes, turn on your favorite music, and let's get to baking!

Ingredients:

3 cups sugar

1 cup oil

4 eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

2/3 cup water

2 cups pumpkin

3 1/3 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Start an electric mixer at low speed and add in each item in the order listed above.

3. Grease 3 bread pans and divide the batter between the pans. Side note: this is a perfect 'keep one, freeze one, share one' recipe!

4. Bake at 350 for 40-60 minutes.

Did you make this recipe? You've already checked at least one box off on the 2020 fall bucket list! Be sure to check out the bucket list blog post for more must-do fall activities!
